Disney's Beauty and the Beast vs Dreamworks' Shrek?

I am taking 2 animated movies from 2 main rivals for animation, that are about a decade apart, and I am asking you which of these 2 films do you like better? And why do you like the one animated movie over the other animated movie?Disney's Beauty and the Beast vs Dreamworks' Shrek?
I liked B%26amp;B much, much more.





It's far harder to hand paint cels than to simply animate using computer software. B%26amp;B took twice as long as Shrek to animate and probably a lot more cash was spent to produce it.





I generally don't like sing-a-long songs in animated feature films, but the ones in B%26amp;B were quite good and the secondary characters were likeable. I liked Lumiere a lot. Supporting minor characters in Shrek (Pinocchio, etc..) are more like gag jokes than developed characters that you could still remember after a decade.Disney's Beauty and the Beast vs Dreamworks' Shrek?
I don't really like either.





I usually prefect the realy old animated movies. Visually there is something about Bambi and Alice in Wonderland that is much more interesting.





Then they went to the newer type of animation style with Aladin, B%26amp;B, Lion King, and others that is not visually interesting. CGI movies may look more realistic, but you loose that handdrawn artistic quality that was in older movies.
Disney Beauty and the Beast is better because the quality of the picture was better.
BEAUTY AND THE BEAST- Incredible soundtrack, beautiful ove story, breathtaking animation, lovable characters, just and all around amazing classic film!
I prefer 2D animation, but Shrek had the much better story
B %26amp; B, this story is French fable/legend that has never been better told like this before. As for animation, I 've always been a fan of the old stlyes.
Beauty %26amp; The Beast was good but i feel Shrek was much better in my opinion.
