About Disney Beauty and the Beast - How long was Beast/Prince cursed?

Hello everyone! Can you help me and explain me one thing in Beauty and the Beast?


We all know, that in the end of the film is Beast/Prince 21 years old (,,rose, which would bloom until his twenty-first year';).


But in the song ,,Be our guest';, Lumiere sings:


,,Ten years we've been rusting


Needing so much more than dusting


Needing exercise, a chance to use our skills!';





...=%26gt; So he was 11 when the witch cursed him? No, it doesn't fit at all :-). I have a feeling that something about it was in ,,Enchanted Christmas'; (btw-horrible movie!) but I don't remember it so well.

accordin to the plot summary on wikipedia.. it was 10 years after the prince is cursed that the movie picks up

but i agree that him being 11 when he was cursed. doesn't seem to make sense


but in this video that i found on you tube which is basically the prolouge from the original movie with new scenes..he does look very much like a young boy so it's possible

i think that there human years are on hold. because when chip gets turn into a human hes only about 5, so he couldnt of been like that for 10 years.
